Ingredients:
6 tablespoons butter
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
4 (1 ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate, chopped
1 cup white sugar
3 eggs
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Start by melting the chocolate. Bring water to a simmer and place chocolate in a heat-safe bowl over the water. Melt down the semisweet chocolate chips and unsweetened chocolate squares with the butter. Stir the chocolate mixture until smooth. Remove the chocolate from the heat and let it cool.
In a separate bowl, combine the sugar and eggs. These should be smooth. Next, add in the vanilla and the melted chocolate. Stir until smooth. Next, add in your dry ingredients. Combine the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder in a separate bowl, then add them into the chocolate mixture. Stir until smooth, then add in the remaining chocolate chips. Cover the cookie dough and chill or about an hour.
Set the oven to 350 degrees and roll the dough into balls. Put them on a cookie sheet and bake for about 10 minutes. Let them cool and enjoy with your sweetheart.
