One way to keep your kids engaged is by encouraging them to read more. To instill a love for reading, you should try taking weekly trips to the library where your kids will be able to choose from a large variety of books to read. If your kids need a little more incentive to get going, consider offering small rewards every time they complete a reading goal. This will keep them motivated and all this extra reading will help improve their language and comprehension skills.
Play Educational Games
Today, playing video games is one of the most popular pastimes among children. However, most popular games do not offer any educational benefits. Rather than allowing your kids to spend all their free time playing these mindless games, introduce them to puzzles and other logic-based games. As many educational games come in a familiar digital format, they will appeal to your kids while still serving beneficial purposes.
Summer Classes/Camps
Just because regular school classes are interrupted by summer break doesn't mean that your child's learning has to stop as well.
