What is No Shave November?

While you may have heard about and even participated in No Shave November, you may not know what this event is about.   No Shave November is actually an event where participants forgo shaving and other forms of hair removal as a means of spreading awareness for cancer. The idea behind No Shave November is to embrace the hair that cancer patients lose while undergoing treatment.   Additionally, organizers encourage participants to donate the money they would have spent on grooming to support cancer research and education.   As another way to show their support, many people grow out their hair so they can donate it to organizations that make wigs for cancer patients.
